Lose Weight By Eating More

A lot of people think that it is only possible to lose weight by eating a very strict diet, exercising, or both. While it is true that proper nutrition and exercise are contributing factors to losing weight, there is a way to lose weight not many people know about, and you will be shocked when you hear what it is:

You can actually eat more and still lose weight!

Many people eat three large meals a day, but if you want to lose weight, it is more efficient to eat five to six meals a day. The key is to eat 5 to 6 small meals . For example, if you were to eat a Subway Sandwich, rather than eating the whole thing at once, you would be better off eating the first half for lunch, and saving the other half for dinner. When you eat smaller meals, your body can metabolize the food more efficiently.

Tom Venuto, author of Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle recommends that women should eat 5 meals a day, and that men should eat 6 meals a day. If possible, eat every 3 hours. If this does not work for you, try to eat every 2 or 2.5 hours.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is to eat as healthy as possible. This does not mean that you can't add a little fat to your diet, but it is important to eat the right kind of fats like olive oil. Try and limit your "good fat" intake to 5-10 grams per meal. If you start eating 5-6 meals a day, it is important to exercise to burn off the excess calories. This will aid in helping your body metabolize the food.

This is just one of the many weight loss strategies Tom Venuto covers in Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. If you have struggled to lose weight in the past, Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle is the way to go!

Weight Loss Supplements

Before you purchase a weight loss supplement, there is something you need to think about:

Envision a diet which required you to eat a sausage burrito for breakfast, three slices of pepperoni pizza for lunch, and 2 cheese burgers for dinner, with apple pie for desert. Do you really think a weight loss supplement would turn THAT kind of a diet into something healthy?

Losing weight is not about popping a diet pill. It is interesting that you will often find a disclaimer on weight loss supplement packaging that there is no proof that the weight loss supplement will actually work, but that it will aid in supplementing a healthy diet...

This means that weight loss supplement companies know that their products don't really work, but that its ok for them to sell them to you as long as they put some kind of disclaimer on the label. Their products sell because they give false hope to consumers.

So, if weight loss supplements aren't really effective, what is effective at helping you lose weight? Well, the answer is no the label: eating a healthy diet. If you want to losing weight, rather than throw away your money on a weight loss supplement, change your eating habits. But what do you eat? A high protein diet? A low fat diet? A Subway Sandwich?

If you have no clue what to eat that is healthy, check out Fat Loss 4 Idiots, also known as the "idiot proof diet". It offers great weight loss advice, comes with a diet generator to help you figure out what to eat, and claims you can lose 9 pounds in 11 days! So what would you look like 9 pounds lighter? Get Rid Of Love Handles

Getting rid of love handles can be an arduous task - don't think for a minute that you can just snap your fingers to make your love handles go away. However, when you start to take steps to get rid of your love handles, you will also burn fat in other areas of your body.

In order to get rid of love handles, it is important to start getting some cardiovascular exercise, such as walking, biking, or roller blading. Ideally, you should exercise for a minimum of 30-45 minutes, 5 days a week. If you are not able to exercise 5 days a week, try to exercise every other day.

Of course, it is always best to see a physician to make sure you are healthy enough to do intense cardiovascular exercise. One thing to keep in mind is that cardiovascular exercise will not benefit you a whole lot if you are not consistent in your cardiovascular work outs.

There are some important dietary considerations as well.

Start adding lean proteins to your diet, such egg whites, chicken, and tuna. This is important because protein is essential for building muscle.

It will also help to add more greens to your diet. baby greens like spinach and other green leafy vegetables are excellent. You can add green peppers, tomatoes, and a small amount of apple cider vinegar to improve flavor.

Additionally, cut back on carbs, refined sugars, and fattening foods. This also included "so called" health foods that are loaded with "bad" carbs, sugar, and excess calories.

Finally, drink plenty of water, and eliminate coffee and sodas because these are some of your worst enemies when it comes to getting rid of your love handles! Weight Loss At Work

The "battle of the bulge" is always a factor at the workplace. While those who have desk jobs might be a little more susceptible to gaining weight compared to those who have who have physically demanding jobs, work can be one of your worst weight loss enemies.

For one, many work places have break rooms that are filled with vending machines with all kinds of junk food. If you get hungry, it is quite easy to indulge yourself on things like cookies, pastries, and candy bars. When you get thirsty, there is always the cappuccino machine or the pop machines standing by to fulfill your caffeine and sugar needs. When you are hungry, and perhaps even when you are not, these things make it difficult to maintain self control.

If the vending machines aren't enough, its always fun to go out to lunch fast food establishments and restaurants that line the streets. Catered food and the cafeteria do not make things any easier. There are virtually endless opportunities to load your body with fat, sugar, and calories it doesn't need.

Fortunately, there are some very simple ways you can start losing weight at work - or at the very least, not putting any more pounds on. For example, you can start bringing your lunch instead of going out to eat. You can also try eating something healthy every 2-3 hours to help you ward off cravings for the junk waiting for you at the vending machines.

In fact, eating smaller, frequent meals (that are healthy, of course) will help you speed up your metabolism and curve your appetite away from unhealthy foods. It may help to bring an extra sandwich to work instead of eating something like a donut from the vending machine, or you can bring a banana, orange, or apple to work as a snack.

Another thing you can do at work to keep the pounds off is to start walking on your breaks or lunches, as long as time permits. For example, if you have an hour for lunch, take 30 minutes of it to go for a walk.
Ultimately, losing weight at work involves practicing a little bit of discipline. This may not be easy at first, but it will pay off when you are 20, 30, or 40 pounds lighter a few months down the road!

Lose Weight By Roller Blading

Written by Keith Riffle

If you are looking for a fun way to lose weight, consider roller blading as an option. You can burn lots of calories by roller blading for 30 to 45 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week.

One reason roller blading is an effective way of losing weight is because of the cardiovascular benefits it gives you. Another reason roller blading is so effective at helping you lose weight is because you are giving your arms, back, and legs a good workout. This will help you firm and tone your muscles, which will not only help you lose weight, but also look and even feel better too!

The main downside to roller blading is that it can be dangerous. For example, it is easy to lose your balance and fall, which might result in broken bones or head injuries. For this reason, there are some important safety precautions you should to take if you start roller blading.

Try to avoid roller blading in areas that have lots of hills - at least when you are starting out. When you go down hills, it can be very difficult to stop, particularly if you are gaining velocity. You definitely don't want this if you are heading down a hill towards an intersection with a bunch of traffic!

It is best to be familiar with the location you are roller blading at. If possible, take a walk or go for a bike ride on the course before you roller blade on it. Roller blading on paved recreational trails where there is no traffic is the sagest way to go, but be careful to watch out for children and adults who my walk in front at a moments notice. Finally, don't forget to wear protective gear, and as always, see a physician before starting any exercise program.

If you do not have a pair of roller blades, it is recommend that you purchase a pair of roller blades locally rather than online, because if you buy online, you won't have a chance to try them on, and if they do not fit correctly, you may be tempted to go roller balding with a pair that doesn't fit. Bad idea!

Finally, it is best to spend a little extra money for a pair of quality roller blades at a sporting goods store, rather than a cheap pair at the discount department store. Quality roller blades will be more comfortable, and give you much better ankle support. You can get a descent pair of roller blades for about $75-150.

5 Weight Loss Enemies

Written by Keith Riffle
If you want to lose weight, there are certain things that will sabotage your weight loss efforts. Below are five things to avoid if you want to lose weight:

1. The Drive Thru

Drive thrus are a convenient way to load your body with fat, sugar, and calories...at an expensive price. Chances are that if you visit the drive thru more than once a week, you will either maintain your current weight, or you will start gaining more weight. So, if you want to lose weight, avoid the drive thru at all cost!

2. Eating Out At Lunch

If you out to lunch often, this is not a good thing. Whether you go to a restaurant or a fast food establishment, the end result is the same: you eat great tasting food which is horrible for your body. If you want to start losing weight, bring a healthy lunch to work, and avoid eating out!

3. Eating Too Many Cookies, Chips, And Crackers

Do you know what cookies, crackers, and chips are best at? They make you fat! Yes, crackers are the lesser of the three evils, but they are still loaded with fat and sodium. If you want to lose weight, stay clear of these three foods, because they will not help your cause to lose weight!

4. Loading Up On The Ground Beef

Don't let words like "lean" fool you. Did you know that just one pound of "80% lean" ground beef contains approximately 92 grams of fat? Just look at the label if you find this hard to believe (23 grams a fat per serving multiplied by 4 servings is equal to 92 grams of fat!). A much better alternative than "lean" ground beef is boneless, skinless chicken breast. By the way, you can learn more about how to read food labels in Burn the Fat Feed The Muscle.

5. Drinking Too Much Pop

It is amazing what can happen when you stop drinking soda pop for a month. I once lost 12 pounds in a month from eliminating pop from my diet. The reason soda pop is so bad for you is because it is loaded with high fructose corn syrup. Contrary to popular belief, the diet stuff isn't any healthier for you...instead of sugar, you get chemicals! If you can kick the soda pop habit and start drinking water, that alone can be the difference in 5 to 10 pounds a month!

These are just a few things that will sabotage your weight loss program. If you can practice a little bit of discipline and learn to live a healthier lifestyle, you can develop some good habits and shed some pounds while you are at it! If you are serious about losing weight, I'd suggest checking out Tom Venuto's Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle or Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
